FashionReal vs. Steal: Isabel Marant Boots

I know I wasn’t the only one lusting after almost every piece that walked down Isabel Marat’s F/W 2011 runway. But we all know what the tour de force was: her amaze-balls knee high fringe boots. If you’re like me and don’t have the money to spend on designer boots and clothes, don’t worry. It’s time for the first edition of: Real vs. Steal.

FashionOutfit Inspiration: Pretty Woman

Pretty Woman: one of the top romantic comedies of the 90s and honestly, a damn good movie to boot. Julie Roberts plays the lovable lady of the night, Vivian Ward, who sports some great duds throughout the whole movie.

Though this may not be her classiest of look of the movie, she keeps it fresh with her layered necklaces, stacked bangles and rocking blonde wig. And how could you forget the infamous line she says to to the boutique ownwers on Rodeo Drive, “You work on comission, right? Big mistake. Big. Huge. I have to go shopping now.”

The polo dress is one of my personal favorites, its very flattering and just a classic. I’m also just a sucker for polka dots. And that red off the shoulder cocktail dress, meow sister.

FashionFresh Face: Frances Bean Cobain

Frances Bean Cobain, the child of the infamous coupling of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, has grown up and looks damn good. She is in no way “new” to the spotlight, but her jump into the world of modeling certainly is. Below are some pics taken by fashion designer turned photographer Hedi Slimane, who captures the Frances’ grungy gothic look perfectly.
