FashionStreet Spotlight: NYFW F/W 2012

Fashion Week is now synomynous with street style. I remember the time where I got most of my inspiration from the shows, but now I find myself more and more engrossed in the world of street style. To top it all off, I was able to glimpse some of the greatness that is the street style during NYFW. I picked some of my favorite looks below, plus, I added a special Sh*t Fashion Girls Say video after the jump. Enjoy ladies!

Okay, so this isn’t women’s wear, but it wouldn’t be Valentine’s Day without some eye candy. Plus Michael Bastian’s show was one of the highlights of NYFW’s menswear. So enjoy. And yes, that is Tyson Beckford on the far right.

FashionStreet Spotlight: Sao Paulo Fashion Week

I am a huge fan/follower of street style around the globe. I love discovering local flair and being able to be inspired by it and interpret it into my own wardrobe. So I thought it was about time we brought some more street style fashions to the Lulu*s blog so you ladies could be inspired just like me!

A couple weeks ago Brazil had it’s fashion week, and Facehunter, an awesome street style blog, caught some amazing fashion and flair from the patrons of the shows. Check out some of my favorite outfits below!

FashionBest of Pre-Fall 2012

Okay, so if you didn’t know, we just finished the pre-fall season for 2012. Below I  highlighted my 10 favorite collections from the pre-fall season, in no particular order. You can agree with me or not, it’s okay, it’s what make the world turn, you know? You can always comment with your thoughts (wink wink, nudge nudge).

*So Chanel would totally make this list (it was one of my fav shows) but we already did a blog on it. So, don’t freak out, k?

InterviewsOutfit Inspiration: Practical Magic

When I was a pre-teen there was nothing more in the world I wanted to be than a witch. It was so cool, you guys. Then Practical Magic came along. It was a movie about sisters and witches?! Count me in. Me and my sister were (well, still are) inseparable, and this movie is the epitome of me and my sisters’ friendship and currently a fashion inspiration. Plus its about witches!

For me, Gilly was always the one I favored, especially outfit wise, probably because she is such a free spirit and I thought she was like me. But let us not forget the best part of this movie, character and fashionwise: Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest! Their love of ridciulously large hats and Stevie Nicks inspired duds, makes me strive to be like them even more. I hope to look at least 1/4 of how good they look when I’m their age!

I am going to leave you guys with my favorite scene from this movie, which, by the way, I did recreate with my mom and sister as soon as I was legal!
