Blank NYC knows how to do denim, selecting the right places for slashes, what’s hot for washes, and coming up with the coolest cuts to bring today’s trends to life. Their spring 2014 Lookbook rarely strays from a blue, black, and white color palette, letting the denim speak for itself. From overalls to cutoffs (and even a little casual chambray), these looks will go far for 2014! See the whole lookbook here.
Diy Friendship Bracelets: Make these simple beaded friendship bracelets by thrifting cute necklaces, or by cleaning out your jewelry box and re-purposing the beads. Make a new bestie at the fest? Offer them part of your arm party as a cute memento!
Materials: Beaded Necklaces, Scissors, Elastic Cord 0.5mm thick.
Step 1: Source cute beaded necklaces or strings of beads. Make sure they move freely along the strand. (Mardi Gras necklaces are often attached to the strand and won’t work for this project.)
Step 2: Cut a 10″ strand of elastic and triple knot one end.
Step 3: String your beads on the elastic, mixing and matching to your liking.
Step 4: Finish by tying the ends together with a triple knot and trimming the excess elastic.
Caged Sandals: Our newest lookbook, Wanderlust, takes on soft spring styles in white and blue. So what better to pair with them than a neutral caged sandal? The epitome of casual-yet-chic, caged sandals are an absolute staple this year. In shades of caramel, sable, and taupe, you can pick just the right color, heel height, and price range to fit your style AND your budget!

Denim Trends 2014: Cool distressed details are still hot this year, but there are a few finer points that are making a presence in 2014.
Anything with straps: This includes overalls (long and short), plus overall skirts, and suspender shorts. This super-cute style will set you apart from the masses of shorty-shorts sure to be on every block this summer.
Light Wash: Nothing says summer sun like the bleached-out look of light wash denim, but don’t be afraid to rock this look well into fall and winter!
Super Seventies: Get your fix of 1976-inspired denim with bell-bottoms, but it doesn’t stop there. Combine trends by layering a cute retro crop top under those overalls, or reaching for those light-wash flares.
