Maple Cream Cheese Frosting
We brought back our favorite blogger/mixologist, Kaelah from Little Chief Honeybee to make a yummy holiday cocktail to enjoy while getting cozy by the fire! The Christmas Cookie cocktail will definitely get you feeling warm and festive! See below for the recipe!
Hi guys! Kaelah from Little Chief Honeybee here! Despite the frigid temperatures outside, the holidays are the perfect time for a nice, blended cocktail to sip by the fire. Today I’m sharing with you a new favorite of ours: a Christmas Cookie! It combines loads of delicious flavors, and packs a nice, warm punch once enjoyed. It really does taste like a cookie!
1 ounce Bailey’s
1 ounce Kahlua
1 ounce Peppermint schnapps
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
3 ounces milk
A few ice cubes
Mix all of your ingredients into a blender and pulse until liquified. Pour into a glass and top with some yummy whipped cream. You can choose to garnish your drink with crushed peppermints or holiday cookies.
If peppermint totally isn’t your thing, you’re in luck! It’s so easy to drastically change the flavor of this cocktail, just by replacing one ingredient. Instead of using peppermint schnapps, try using butterscotch! Then you can crush butterscotch pieces for the garnish. (This one is my favorite!)
If you prefer to stay alcohol free, you can use peppermint or butterscotch syrup to give your mocktail the flavor you’re after. Enjoy!

Fall is for fashion, amiright?? Here at LuLu*s, we love the fall for all of its possibilities. With that just-right temperature, you can rock light layers without freezing or being uncomfortably warm. It is the season to break out all of your amazing jackets, perfect boots, and cozy sweaters. We love imagining fall in all of our favorite cities and enlisting bloggers to show us how they layer up in LuLu*s! Today we have Kiara of Tobruck Ave to show us how she rocks her LuLu*s layers in the greatest city in the world: New York!
Not to miss was a bright yellow gelato / coffee spot called A B Biagi! We could not resist a little taste test of pretty much every flavor; delicious! For lunch we stopped into California-inspired taco restaurant Tacombi, escaping the fall rain and wind. New York fall day looks always call for layers and outfits that are easily carried from day to night, since after street strolling and subways, evening events always follow.
This shift dress and bomber combo was such a perfect go-to look for my day in the city and the combat boots added not only comfort while walking, but a little bit of a rocker edge to the outfit.
After tacos, shopping, and a lot of walking (very purposely past the iconic heart wall), we stopped by a little cafe and caught up with my girl Natalie of Natalie off Duty for some Chai lattes. Before the storm hit that evening, in true blogger fashion, we took some outfit pictures and then beat the rain by ducking into a store opening in Soho. Thanks to LuLu*s for the perfect outfit for a day in the city!
Now its your turn to shop your favorite fall look! Head over to Tobruckave.blogspot.com to enter for a chance to win a $250 gift card to shop your little heart out.

Today we have Kealah from Little Chief Honey Bee back again to share a new twist on a fall favorite: The Pumpkin Spice Hot Toddy! We love asking Kaelah for her favorite drink recipes because she always comes up with a-mahhh-zing ideas! We wanted something that was yummy and very autumn-inspired, and she delivered. Warm pumpkin flavors with a kick; what more could you want? (This drink is great virgin too- just omit the whiskey!) Let us know what other kind of drinks you would like to see. You never know, yours could be next!
Hi everyone! Kaelah here! To be quite honest, I’ve never really been excited by the thought of pumpkin anything. September 1st doesn’t mean much to me, and the thought of eating a pumpkin pie sort of repulses me. But my husband? That’s a different story. We just celebrated our first wedding anniversary, and much like our actual wedding day, the weather was a bit gloomy and chilly. I thought it’d be fun to whip up a pumpkin and whiskey cocktail to tickle his fancy and spice up the evening. We’re huge whiskey fans and our collection is ever growing, so I decided to do a pumpkin/whiskey cocktail. You can use any type of whiskey you want (Scotch! Cinnamon! Bourbon!), or you can even substitute in some spiced rum if that sounds good. If you’re into pumpkin spice lattes and whiskey, you’ll totally love this Pumpkin Spice Hot Toddy (you can make a mocktail version of it, too)! It’s perfect for the cooler autumn days that are officially upon us. We’re planning on hosting a friendly get-together soon and these are an absolute must for any party. Enjoy!
