The idea behind this blog was just to showcase the talent of this makeup artist, and not in any way did I mean to imply that people need to be retouched or changed. Here at Lulu*s, we just like to give people a way to dress up for a day or find new ways to express themselves when they are being creative -- and this makeup artist is just one example of how people can do that if they choose -- but that should and will never take the place of natural beauty. Look at the shape of her nose, the lines in her neck, on her face. In fact, almost everyone's nose bridge seems to have been adjusted to being Barbie perfect and straight, except for the first two models. And you can just tell that jaw-lines have been adjusted, vividness of eye color, cheek bones are more prominent, faces thinner. Ridiculous depiction of "Before and After." I do appreciate the makeup aspect, but even it isn't mind-blowing. It's all just fixing everyone's face, so that they look made to fit our beauty standards today. And he made the man look like a d-bag...lol :P But, that's the big look in Russia for men and women!
