Fekkai tests on animals which is just plain gross! Not Your Mother's has a great sea spray, they're cruelty free and it's only 6 bucks!! I would definitely look for another leave-in conditioner.. I sleep with 2 french braids (only slightly damp) when I want lots of waves in the morning. I would also suggest using gel or mouse in your hair before you braid, if your hair has a hard time holding curl. I would like to try this homemade hairspray! mmm essential oils, great idea! One thing I recommend for my straight-haired friends is to put the spray in when damp, braid, and then sleep on it.
