Hey Charity! That sounds like a great tip! I'm going to have to try it as it sounds like we have similar types of hair. Thanks for the suggestion! :)

When my hair is overdo for a wash, or I am in a hurry, I slick it back, and do a "messy half-pony puff".
*Slick/brush hair back into a ponytail.Pull hair through a ponytail holder as normal, until you only will be able to pull your hair through it one more time. Then like your pulling the ponytail though again, but this time only pull half the hair back through the ponytail holder.Pull on each side of the puff you now have. You can then leave as is.Fluff out/mess up the loose hair pieces.Or pin them to your head in random places with bobbie pins.If your hair is really long, it is harder to just fluff out the pieces, you will probabaly have to pin them down to your head to get them to stay, or you can randomly wrap them around the ponytail puff and tuck them into the ponytail holder.Spray with hairspray if desired :)) This style works well if you are like me and get greasy roots easily, but the rest of your hair is just fine.
