Need help staying fit this summer? Here are some simple tips to help maintain your summer frame without going on a crazy diet!
#1. Water is your friend!
Nothing is better for your body than water, especially in the summer time. Your daily intake should be at least eight glasses of water (total of 64 oz). Don’t worry ladies, you don’t need to give up on your favorite beverages (whether that be Pepsi or a Margarita), just drink two more glasses of water to compensate.
#2. Go for a Walk
Just 30 minutes of cardio a day will help you maintain your weight. You can work out on your Wii Fit, swim a few laps, or just go for a walk. Simple and easy!  If you really want to burn fat, increase the activity to a hike or playing a sport like volleyball!
#3. Substitute things
Instead of ordering unhealthy (and overpriced!) movie popcorn, bring trail mix! Instead of french fries, try a salad! Instead of ice cream try a popsicle!  I think you get where I’m going with this.
#4. Don’t over indulge
Diets never made sense to me. Why give up all the foods you love and make you happy? Try eating the correct portions of those foods instead.  So instead of having three slices of pizza, switch to two small slices with a side salad.
