one of my resolutions is to wear bolder shoes. i always wear the same pair of mary janes that have more than worn out, and i think i need to switch out of that as shoes do tell quite a bit of your personality! i’ve been looking at some jefferey campbell michelle heels as well as crazy booties from the likes of sam edelman. wish me luck as i am quite a klutz!

resolution: to start wearing accessories that are bold and catch attention. the Monroe Necklace in Gold is perfect and glamorous!

My fashion resolution is to re-connect with my inner Audrey Hepburn..to wear more classic retro modern pieces that will make me feel like I’m having breakfast, lunch, AND dinner at Tiffany’s ;)

The Lulu*s items that would help me achieve this goal? The Sing Along Lace Top paired with the Va Va Voom Skirt in Black, the Qupid Salya 323 Black Thai Silk Ballerina Flats, and topped off with the BB Dakota by Jack Aubree Trench Coat. I’d pair it with delicate little Archer Ave Purse in Black and accessorize with the Leading Lady Hair Clip in Gold, of course!

my resolution: wear skirts! I find myself always wearing the same boring jeans everyday, I want to be more feminine. I would start with the fun Folk Pop Skirt

    January 9, 2010 at 10:51 am
  5. Jennifer Risberg

My resolution: to wear a pair of flats. I don’t own one pair of flats(shoes) because I am afraid that they won’t give me any height. My resolution is to get a pair, let go, and not care. To just put myself out there without worrying about my height.

Lulus item I would use: Soda Moby Black Faux Suede Bow Wrapped Ballet Flat

    January 9, 2010 at 10:51 am

I resolve to vary my dress-up wardrobe and wear less black and more colors! :)

one of my resolutions is to be more creative with my fashion choices. one being to wear dresses or skirts more often! i have fallen in love with the “i shall wear purple” dress, along with the “caroline wallet purse in grey” and the “bamboo beat 35 black strappy cage heel” i have a complete outfit! im so in love, will need to order that soon.

    January 9, 2010 at 10:52 am
  8. Mayra

I love wearing dresses. I think im a proud owner of …..hmmm enough dresses to hold me out for a month.

My Fashion resolution for this new year is exploring the world of jeans. Being that i work in the food industry, I have to wear jeans at work….. So jeans have a bad name in my book. But its time to change! Besides wearing a dress in a bizarre cold/winter sucks!

So for my My fave Lulus.com item that i would wear to get a head start on my resolution are : the Chain Reaction Faded Skinny Jean or the Divine Rights of Denim Genesis Jean and i would def. spoil myself with a pair of Mia Marion Black Suede Lace Up Shootie on a Wedge. Just because heels make any short girl with skinny jeans look amazing.

    January 9, 2010 at 10:53 am
  9. Kaila

One of my resolutions is to wear more fun colors! I tend to wear a lot of neutrals, so I wanted to change it up! I also want to start wearing more dressy clothes, like skirts and dresses. I love the Rio De Janerio Dress, it’s a fun bright color and can be dressy or casual. Oh and I love the zipper! So adorable!

    January 9, 2010 at 10:56 am
  10. Cassie

My resolution is to wear flats that have more character to them. I usually wear my boring brown flip flops and its time to step out of my comfort zone. I love the Bamboo Cruise 50 Pewter and Sparkle T Thong Sandal. The details are beautiful~ they would be perfect to wear on my honeymoon next month!

    January 9, 2010 at 11:01 am
  11. Mimi Bui

my resolution is to wear more DRESSES!! [that aren't black] =] i hardly ever wear them and to go along with my “run 4 miles a day to get fit” resolution i bought the melted heart dress in coral! i love lulus & i now have my roommate obsessed!

    January 9, 2010 at 11:02 am
  12. Maricella Brilmyer

I resolve to stand out more with plenty of sparkle like the Shade Tree Top in black:)

    January 9, 2010 at 11:02 am
  13. Melissa C.

One of my fashion resolutions for this new year would be to wear a variety of shoes. I mostly wear flats and flip flops, so I would like to change it up with other types of shoes, such as boots, heels, etc. Also, I wear mostly black shoes, so I would like to wear other colors. For this resolution, I would wear the Jeffrey Campbell Michelle Gold Ruffle Unicorn Heel:

    http://www.lulus.com/products/Jeffrey+Campbell+Michelle+Gold+Ruffle+Unicorn+Heel/13976.html

These shoes are absolutely gorgeous and they are very unique!

  14. Jessica

One of my fashion resolutions is to add belts to my wardrobe. Belts can be a great way to add pizzaz to a plain outfit. A belt can be used to draw attention to your smallest area, when cinching in at the waist, or can show off your curves when slung over you hips. Not only are they flattering, but they take any outfit to another level and re-confirm your sense of style. I’ve tended to turn to other accesories to dress up my outfits, such as a fun necklace or scarf, but I am looking forward to adding belts into my wardrobe this year, and I think I will start with the adorable Braided Rosette Belt in Metallic Silver!

  15. Jennifer firestone

I want to wear dresses! I haven’t worn a dress in like 10 years, plus I had a son 3 years ago and since then I have had stretch marks on my legs from when I was pregnant, I have learned to embrace them cause they’re not going anywhere so this year I’m going to buy some short dresses, because our flaws make us unique :)

and the dresses I pick to wear out for the first time are the..

    Chilltown dress in charcoal

    Larkspur dress in taupe :)

    January 9, 2010 at 11:16 am
  16. Cristina R.

My new year’s resolution would definately be to wear more dresses that are bold/with patterns. The Suez Canal Dress would push me in the way towards that goal; it’s not too much of one pattern for me but just enough fun variety to start. When i become confident to be more experimental i would love to wear the Niwa Niwa Dress, it’s lingerie look is not overbearing and the entire dress is bold in it’s simplest form! A few others i would try would be the Glastonbury and Somebody to Love Dress.

(and it wouldn’t be complete without)
    *Fresh Water Necklace

One of my resolutions is to love my feet a little more and show off my legs in heels. I plan on owning a pair of Jeffery Campbell shoes like the Jeffrey Campbell Inches Black Ringed Unicorn Heel Bootie!! I’m soooooooo in love with them

    January 9, 2010 at 11:28 am
  20. Rachel

ResolutioN: Wear cute shoes every day!

Accomplishing that would include wearing these: Blowfish Tough Stuff Tan Distressed Cow Suede Banded Boot

    January 9, 2010 at 11:36 am
  21. Shauna

Overcome my fear of dirtying light colors by adding more light and airy dresses like the Airy Dress by Roxy to my wardrobe.

    January 9, 2010 at 11:43 am
  22. Aimee Smith

My 2010 resolution is to wear shoes other than sneakers and flipflops. I want to wear something cuter. “Classified Bubal Tan Vegan Leather Mod Buckle Boot” seems like a good way to break my sneaker habit. :)

    Fashion Resolution #5
My wardrobe needs a serious update. I have so many clothes that I havent worn in over 3 years. My resolution is to go through all my clothes. ( it may take me all year) and give away all my clothes that I dont wear anymore to a local womens shelter. I always pass the downtown womens center whenever I come home from that side of town. I know I would never be able to give a huge donation to them but I hope they’ll enjoy all my old clothes and shoes. some of which were only worn a few times.
And for me I would like the make do top. Im going to be out of a job soon since mine is closing and would love to have a nice blouse to wear for job interviews.

    January 9, 2010 at 11:47 am
  24. Sara Phillips

My resolution is to reclaim my inner shoe diva! Before I had kids, I had a ZILLION pairs of great shoes. Now, I really only have one pair of dress shoes, a pair of flip flops and a pair of tennis shoes.

I would love to add these to my new collection: Jeffrey Campbell Gene Tan Leather Ankle Cowgirl Boot … I LOVE THEM!!!

    January 9, 2010 at 11:47 am
  25. Rebecca Dawkins

I used to have lots of cowboy boots, and somehow I don’t have anymore. I resolve to get a pair before the end of Feburary. I want Jeffrey Campbell Gene Tan Leather Ankle Cowgirl Boots!

    January 9, 2010 at 11:49 am
  26. Lauren

I am making a resolution to wear more dresses and will start with the “Take the Plunge” dress!!

    January 9, 2010 at 11:50 am
  27. Pamela

One of my resolutions is to wear all of the shoes I have! Either that or give those to a charity and buy some that I will wear. I admit I am a shoe fanatic and they do me no good collecting dust in my closet. I tend to wear only the most comfortable ones which are about 10% of my collection.

    January 9, 2010 at 11:51 am
  28. Mel

My resolution for this year is to look more put together. I haven’t really found my sense of style and I think this year I will take the time to get dress rather than rushing through it. I will also make smart choices by buying pieces that I love and know that I can go in my closet and be able to put an outfit together. I’d get myself a Back in Brooklyn Top with an English Major Jacket over it, a Sin City Skinny Jean by Kill City with some hot Pink Duchess Rhania Black Double Buckled Belted Bootie. For accessories, I would wear the Camera Ready Earrings in Silver. Love the sparkle of the top with the classic tailoring of a jacket and that elbow patch makes it quite modern and chic; it’s a staple, it’s very versatile which I need when building my wardrobe.

    January 9, 2010 at 11:52 am
  29. Marisol

My fashion resolution for this year is to find new ways to look fashionable, yet professional, in the workplace. As a 24 year old Commercial Banker, I constantly struggle to find clothes that will look professionally-appealing, while staying true to my own personal style. I plan to invest in some fitted blazers, which will be paired with more classic business-friendly clothes, and I will also invest in some antique statement jewelry, to give my business look an extra edge.

With this outfit, I would pair an unbuttoned Forbes Blazer by Kersh, Android Ruched Leggings in Black , Anne Michelle Fume 61 Black Double Zip Booties, and — my statement jewelry: Elinor Cameo Necklace in Silver.

    January 9, 2010 at 12:08 pm
  30. Lauren

This year I need a fashion resolution. I want to accessorize my self to look more chic! Since my wardrobe is made up of mostly the basics, it would be perfect to take some bold accessories to vamp up my look. You don’t need to have a million different clothes, but if you have a few basic favorites the cool accessories can make any simple outfit look out of this world, or different every time you wear it.

To help me achieve this goal of mine I’d go straight to Lulu’s and get:

    Coloma Belt in Brown &

    Caged Cahira Purse &

    Sugar Swoon Scarf &

    Black Iris Headband!

    January 9, 2010 at 12:41 pm
  31. Savana Louviere

My fashion resolution of 2010 is to enbrace how I look and dress to feel amazing about my body and shape. I am more of a basics and casual girl but I do love to dress up on occasions! So now I am going for a new and improved version of myself by taking more “me” time to focus on what looks I want to try and how to put them together! :) I’m lovin’ the Blue Bayou Dress at this moment!

Fashion resolution would be to embrace some rock and roll into my accessories. You can never go wrong with a bag like the Stud Spangled Banner Bag. Its cute, versatile and takes you from day to night, office to party with such ease. http://www.lulus.com/products/Stud+Spangled+Banner+Bag/18014.html

  36. Kathy

This year I don’t want to take forever to get dressed, and go the more natural, sophisticated route. I want to put well put together at all times, but not like I put hours into into. The Clever Eleanor Linen Jacket plus the Slow Down Top in Black by RVCA paired with the Savage Skinny Pants in Black and finish off with Chelsea Crew Pauline Tan Sweet Caroline Pump.
Some red lipstick would finish the look off.

My overall new years resolution was to create more and to consume less. In regards to fashion, that means I endeavor to only buy clothing that will last season to season and will transcend fleeting trends. A classic trench is on my must-have’s: The BB Dakota by Jack Aubree Trench Coat is a piece I can see myself wearing for years and years and years to come.

This year, I want to face my fear of heels! Bring on the height with the Jeffrey Campell Alley Black Platform Cage Heels! :-)

    January 9, 2010 at 1:36 pm
  39. Ali

My resolution is to wear dresses to school. I also want to wear more prints or bold colors. I would choose the Avon Park Dress because it has a print that is daring because not many people wear floral and I love the colors :D

    January 9, 2010 at 1:47 pm
  40. Samantha

To wear form fitting dresses 3 times a week. I tend to hide behind baggy clothes and I’m tired of it! The Repitilia Dress is the ideal dress for me. Can’t wait to get it!

    January 9, 2010 at 1:57 pm
  41. Ariana

This year I’m going to go outside my comfort zone and try new things. I’ll wear brighter clothes and different styles, I’ll reinvent my image while I’m young. I’ll start with the blue dress called “Head in the Clouds”. It’s feminine, sexy and girly and would look great on me I’m sure. I’m tired of buying all black things that look similar. I want different things that make people stare, that say I didn’t know Ariana could look good in that.

    January 9, 2010 at 2:09 pm
  42. Judi

One of my fashion resolutions for the new year is to expand my wardrobe by not wearing as many dark colors; such as grays and blacks. I would love to kick this rosultion off by wearing the ” Belle Epoque Sweater by Knitted Dove.” It is a beautiful cream color and very unique!

    January 9, 2010 at 2:17 pm
  43. Gwen P

My fashion New Year’s resolution today is to get into Vintage! It’s so cool that clothing and accessories are still around and pieces are (for the most part) very pretty or funky and just look fun to wear. I would start this resolution with the Princeton Boyfriend Blazer. How cute is that? Not only is it an adorable boyfriend jacket, it’s also vintage and is everything I am looking for for my first vintage item!

    January 9, 2010 at 2:24 pm
  44. Tavia

My fashion resolution is to start purhcasing more quality pieces that are colorful and vibrant. No more boring and netural colors. I want to be able to mix and match the different outfits in my wardrobe. I’d start with the
Tashen Bandeau Dress by Billabong with the Anne Michelle Mayhem 01 Black Suede Take a… and the Saturday Night Snakeskin Clutch in Gold.

    January 9, 2010 at 2:34 pm
  45. Jen

One of my fashion resolutions is to be bold with accessories. That would be easy to accomplish with Lulu’s Swashbuckle Belt in Brown…so cute!

  46. Hannah

My fashion resolution is to be bold and make a statement. I don’t care what other people think about me by the way I dress as long as it’s cute and I like it that’s what matters :) One way I could make a “fashion statement” would be by wearing the make a change top, not only is it super cute by the name of the shirt represents what I want to do. I would also pair it with the Bamboo Beat 38 Black Faux Suede Ruffled Bootie, these are super cute and although I have two different size feet the cheap price makes it easy to buy two pairs!

    January 9, 2010 at 2:55 pm
  47. Mandee

For 2010 I am going for a new “artsy” look. I’d wear the Espresso Bean Sweater with Rumble Tumble Boyfriend Jean and Bamboo Beat 35 Chestnut Strappy Cage Heel to match. And last but not least the Tongue Tied Handbag in Purple would be a great accessory!

    January 9, 2010 at 2:56 pm
  48. Mary Steska

My resolution is to: ELONGATE MY FRAME and make myself look tall… I think if I go with a look such as wearing Lara Croft Jumpsuit with high heels, it would help elongate my frame! I am not short, but also not as tall as I want to be. So with wearing things that flow, and have continuity in their lines/silhouette I can make me look as tall as I want people to think I am.

    January 9, 2010 at 3:14 pm
  49. Allyson

my resolution is not to let the cold weather keep me from looking cute and being warm…sequins and stripes tunic sweater!

  52. Jami Graham

One of my resolutions is to enjoy the sexiness AND confidence in leggings and fabulous boots with the Wild Dive Charlotte 01 Black Vegan Leather OTK Heel Boot! Thank you for these, whether I win or not, its been fun to push myself! C:

    January 9, 2010 at 3:57 pm
  53. Kayla

One of my fashion resolutions this year is to be more daring and go for vintage and vintage inspired looks. I think Vintage by Lulu’s “Lady of La Mancha Dress” would fit that resolution perfectly.

    January 9, 2010 at 4:05 pm
  54. Elle

My Fashion Resolution is to break out of my comfort zone and wear more styles and colors than I would normally.

These are the outfits I would wear for that resolution:

Bamboo Beat 66B Belted and Buckled Chestnut Heel Boot

    Morocco Gold ID Case

    Building Block Bangles in Silver

    Edith’s Silver Butterfly Ring

    January 9, 2010 at 4:39 pm
  55. Thao-Mi

My resolution is to wear more flats because they make any look perfect! I’d wear the “Qupid Salya 323 Black Thai Silk Ballerina Flat”. They are so cute! And I love the bows (:

    January 9, 2010 at 5:06 pm
  56. Sandy M.

My final fashion resolution is to shop more at Lulu’s! I’ve already accomplished one of my earlier resolutions by buying the La La Love dress. Can’t wait to receive it! The next item I’ll probably buy is the Make Do Top!

This year I resolve to mix-up my wardrobe with accessories. I always fall back on the same-old pearl studs, gold bangles, etc. I think the ZAD Fringe Friendly necklace would be the perfect start to have some fun with accessories!

    January 9, 2010 at 5:44 pm
  62. Azia

My fashion resolution this year is to stop traffic in gorgeously unique cocktail dresses. I would wear the Hot Conductor Dress with Anne Michelle Mayhem 01 Black Suede Take a Bow Heel because they are to die for!!!

    January 9, 2010 at 5:44 pm
  63. Amy

My New year’s Fashion Resolution is to STOP sacrificing comfort for fashion, but of course still being Fashionable!

It’s always my shoes that are the culprit. Looking on point and stylish, I’m always rocking some sort of hot heels that leave my feet begging for relief at the end of the day.

Therefore, this year I’m aiming to be stylish, chic & comfortable!

annnnnnd the Lulu product that would help me achieve this goal?

The Jeffrey Campbell Fame 2! Helloooo gorgeous come to mama. The distressed leather is simpy GORGEOUS! and would make every outfit look AMAAAZING! Honestly, how can anyone do wrong with Jeffrey Campbell :)

    Here’s a link:

To start wearing high heels again…..love Bamboo Beat 66B Belted and Buckled Gray Heel Boot

    January 9, 2010 at 5:46 pm
  65. Amanda Brown

My fashion resolution is to wear cuter clothes to work (a preschool) instead of falling back on khakis and a henley. I feel like I look so young and I want to dress like a fashion-forward adult!

I would wear the Taipei Grey Dress because it looks super comfortable and still looks put together & professional! But it’s sold out (sad!) so I think Boom Time Dress would also be adorable for work.

    January 9, 2010 at 5:48 pm
  66. Gina

Resolution – Never wear anything I don’t absolutely LOVE! I’m not letting my awesome wardrobe hang in the closet anymore, waiting on the right time to be worn.

I live in a small town, and if you wear anything besides jeans and tees you get “the look”. I don’t care anymore… my closet is full of trendy, cute and super stylish clothes, and they’re all going to be worn. Even if it’s just a trip to the grocery store!

To amp my closet up even more I’ll be getting: the Sing Along Lace Top, Heart of Glass Dress, the Betty Draper Dress (I love her)… for days I want something more relaxed – the Forest’s Edge top, the LA Freeway Tunic and maybe the Glimpse Top.

I’m going to wear what I love, what I’m in the mood to wear… every single day!

    January 9, 2010 at 5:54 pm
  67. Melanie Joseph

My fashion resolution is to follow my personal sense of style without busting my budget and think in terms of whole outfits rather than single pieces. I love stylish and well made clothes and a lot of the times these are hard to come by at prices that are affordable. I am quirky but fashionable and I love that Lulus has clothes, shoes and accessories that are cutting edge but reasonably priced.
My outfit would be Waverly button up shirt dress, Walking Tall trousers, Sinclair Studded Jacket, and the Jeffrey Campbell Inches Black Ringed Unicorn- so stylish!

    January 9, 2010 at 5:56 pm
  68. Alyssa

NY resolution: more boyfriend jeans paired with girly tops and high, high heels.

    January 9, 2010 at 6:03 pm
  69. Karissa Gall

My New Year’s Fashion Resolution is to keep timelessness in mind when I’m shopping. Throughout the first years of my undergraduate degree I’ve had fun with a lot of funky pieces, but I’m entering the “real”, working world in a few short months and I’m going to need a stylish, mature, timeless wardrobe. Although I don’t think I’d wear this to the office, I think the Monaco Cruise Dress would be an excellent addition to a sophisticated-sexy wardrobe.

This year my fashion resolution is to take more chances with my wardrobe. If it doesn’t work it then, hey, I can always change lol.

My new year resolution is to wear more color! With the economy down this year, all I wore was black to grief it but 2010 will be a great year therefore I’m celebrating in style and in color!!

My fashion resolution: Wear form fitting dresses that show off my bod.

I won’t have this hot bod forever! It’s time I show it off instead of hiding under layers. I think the Avon Park Dress would help me do just that.
