New York Fashion Week is always a style feast for the eyes — and designers this season did not disappoint. The fashion crowd served up serious slayage, giving us all sorts of outfit inspiration that we can totally get behind. And we’re not talking about waiting until Spring 2019 to try these trends, either. From bold yellow to black leather there are more than a few looks from the New York shows that we are ready to copy in real life ASAP. While it’s tough to play favorites, we managed to narrow down our top 9 fashion week looks — so scroll on and check out the runway realness that got us going gaga this season.
- Christian Siriano
Christian Siriano never shies away from bold colors or shapes and we are here for all of it. Mustard isn’t typically known as a romantic hue but this flirty yellow dress had our hearts racing for sure.
- Oscar de La Renta
Quick — someone invite us to a gala ASAP! This feathery frock is literally the stuff dress dreams are made of. The deep sweetheart neck! The unexpected tea-length hem! Swoon.
- Prabal Gurung
Cargo pants are making a major comeback for spring, as are electric hues. This bright, sporty windbreaker and pant combo, complete with matching bikini top, gives us all the 90s hip hop video feels. Of course, we are so on board.
- Pamella Roland
What’s better than a sequin dress for evening? Maybe a sequin jumpsuit — and matching cropped sequin tux jacket. In silver. Need we say more?
- Vivienne Hu
Hu gave the sweet pastel dress a modern makeover with cutout detail and fringe trim. We can totally see this one with a leather moto over it for fall.
- Naeem Khan
For formal occasions, nothing makes an entrance quite like plunging red gown. Khan’s sleek cap-sleeve version doesn’t need much else besides a bold lip and a slick side part. Glam goddess 101.
- Dennis Basso
Soft pink plus black leather equals yes, please. We’re pretty sure if the Rizzo from Grease existed in real life, this is what she’d be wearing today.
- Tory Burch
Weekend brunch outfit alert! A striped maxi dress over a graphic tee is the ultimate in effortlessly cool dressing. Just add sneakers.
- Kate Spade
We heart the 70s and all the fashion that came with it. This vibrant preppy-boho mashup just makes us want to jet off somewhere totally groovy.
