I, Ashley of Sugar & Cloth, think we can all agree that watered down drinks aren’t nearly as refreshing as crisp, fresh ones full of … mint! Okay, so maybe not everyone loves mint as much as I do, but in case mojitos ARE your style, then this one is definitely for you: mojito ice cubes! Ingredients for one standard tray of ice cubes:
– 7 mint leaves
– 1/2 lime
– 1/2 cup of club soda
– 1 tablespoon of mint simple syrup (I used this one
Squeeze the lime, and mix all of the other ingredients together in a glass, except instead of muddling the mint, just tear it into smaller pieces to fit into the ice cube tray openings. Let them freeze for 4-6 hours, and then use them as needed in mojitos!
