Thanksgiving Traditions
Thanksgiving Day is upon us again, bringing to mind thoughts of food, family gatherings, and those silly traditions we look forward to each year.
Maybe you jump out of bed and watch the parades over coffee, or perhaps you’re the one in charge of cooking it up year after year, slaving away over pots of boiling water and giblets.

Maybe you’re the kind who curls up on the couch after dinner to the ever-present TV version of “The Wizard of Oz”.

When I began dating my fiancé, I acquired the family tradition of going out shooting targets and clay pigeons with the fam. (A long time pacifist, I never would have seen myself enjoying this, but with a couple of sandwiches and a few relatives, it works.)
Perhaps you’re into breaking traditions like this Baskin-Robbins Glazed Turkey Cake (this is for real).

I’ve heard tales of vicious gift exchanges, turkeys covered in mayonnaise and cooked into extinction, and eating contests that never seem to turn out well.
Sound familiar?
Tell us about your traditions, and share the most heartfelt and quirky things about your Thanksgiving Day!
