“Happy Holidays Everyone! Jen here from Jen Loves Kev! Don’t you just love this time of year? One of my favorite parts is getting to decorate special around the house. In our house we love to use neutrals as a base and then add lots of color (and of course sparkles). I like to keep up most of our regular decor but add that special Christmas flair to it. For example, on our gallery wall the addition of a simple garland and christmas ball turns our deer head into Rudolph.
I really love getting my girls involved with decorating too. My daughter Rowan loves to help decorate the tree.
I like to add my own special touch to our decorations with a few handmade items. It is easy to make a felt garland (like our Joy To The World one). Just cut out letters and glue to some twine.
Like our house, I enjoy keeping my holiday outfits on the simpler side. We aren’t going to super fancy parties or anything. Lots of family friendly events with our kiddos. I like to wear items that work well with being a mom but with that added christmas flair. Love these high waisted ankle jeans paired with these silver heels. So festive.
Buffalo plaid is always a favorite but combined with some awesome statement necklaces you create a holiday look all your own.
Hope you have a Happy Holiday season!
