I am not sure how many of you watch soccer, care for soccer, or even have ever played soccer BUT I think it’s super important to stay up to date (no matter what your excuse) on the world’s most popular sport (and my personal favorite). This is the year of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa so stay on your toes to see who is going to come out on top after 64 grueling matches between 32 amazing teams from around the world!

This morning the U.S. played Slovenia in a match worthy of catching anyone’s breath. Don’t worry, the game just finished and the United States came out with a 2-2 tie with Slovenia!  Sadly we did actually score a goal that had the game at 3-2 Landon Donovan of the U.S. team sent the ball forward which was then sent straight into the net by Maurice Edu to settle the score and make for one insanely close come back. The goal lasted for about 20 seconds before the referee called the shot and took back the goal.

Keep posted for more updates of the 2010 World Cup!
