Sure you’ve heard of the ombre hair color trend, but have you tried the blended look on your lips? Well now you can! Four simple steps get you a sultry, contoured pout with our Pink Ombre Lip Tutorial. Find the steps and shop the LAQA & Co. products we love below!
1. Begin by applying a bit of concealer to prep the lips (this will help neutralize the natural lip color and boost wear time!).
2. Start the ombre technique by carefully lining the lips with a fuchsia-pink lipstick (we recommend the LAQA & Co. Pinkman + Lambchop Lil’ Lip Duo).
3. Next, apply the lighter pink lipstick to the center of the lips.
4. Complete the look by lightly blotting clear lip gloss (being sure to not smudge the colors together).
As Mad Men comes to a close, our favorite marketing men and mavens are shifting into a new era: the 1970s. A time very near and dear to our hearts, the 70s bring high-wasited bell bottoms, feathered hair, platforms, and all things dreamy. And who better to showcase such gorgeous fashion than our favorite fiery Mad Men redhead, Joan Holloway, played by the outrageously gorgeous Christina Hendricks! Set in black and white with beautiful blush tones, Hendricks is a vision and the ultimate 1970s icon!
