DIYDIY Friendship Bracelets

fest-thing-header-bluediy friendship bracelets

Diy Friendship Bracelets: Make these simple beaded friendship bracelets by thrifting cute necklaces, or by cleaning out your jewelry box and re-purposing the beads. Make a new bestie at the fest? Offer them part of your arm party as a cute memento!

Materials: Beaded Necklaces, Scissors, Elastic Cord 0.5mm thick.

Step 1: Source cute beaded necklaces or strings of beads. Make sure they move freely along the strand. (Mardi Gras necklaces are often attached to the strand and won’t work for this project.)

Step 2: Cut a 10″ strand of elastic and triple knot one end.

Step 3: String your beads on the elastic, mixing and matching to your liking.

Step 4: Finish by tying the ends together with a triple knot and trimming the excess elastic.

FashionCoachella Picks from Our Favorite Bloggers!

This festival season we wanted to partner up with some awesome blogger babes to cover all of the fun! Three of our favorite fashion bloggers are heading out to Coachella this weekend: Natalie Suarez, her sister Dylana Suarez, and their bff  Kiara Schwartz! These three have a style that is synonymous with Boho and festival. With tons of inspo daily on how to style the perfect destroyed denim, leather boots, and piles of the best jewelry, it is no wonder they each have such an amazing following. We asked them to pick their festival must-haves from LuLu*s and we love what they chose! From rad overalls, to perfect crop tops, these babes have the Coachella style to covet! Q. What is your must-have festival beauty item?

Natalie of Natalie off DutyMy must-have festival beauty item would have to be beach hair spray! I love that salty, slept-in, super messy look! And with a festival, the more grungy and effortless your look, the better! I like to keep my routine extra simple with a convertible lip/cheek stain just to keep my skin and makeup looking fresh from day to night.

Dylana of Color Me NanaMy must-have festival beauty item is skin primer! I wear it underneath all my makeup. It will keep my concealer and blush on all day long, so I don’t have to worry about retouching throughout the day. That’s the last thing I need to worry about when I’m trying to rush to see the next band on time.

Kiara of Tobruck AveDefinitely a great non-oily sunscreen for my face, powder to keep my skin looking fresh, and a lipstick that can double as blush! Less is more at a festival, but I always want my beauty look to be fresh. These are the key ingredients that will keep me going all day and night!
