NewsJust Another Day…In Ikea Heights!!

Remember that scene in 500 Days of Summer, where Tom and Summer “play house” in Ikea? There’s that hilarious little sequence in which they pretend to use the T.V. and sink and are perplexed when they both don’t work. All the while they happily bound from room to room as if no one else is there. If you thought that was fun, then wait until you experience the drama and the laughs of Ikea Heights. Yes, Ikea Heights.

Created by the very funny Dave Seger, Paul Bartunek, Delbert Shoopman, Spencer Strauss, and Tom Kauffman, this melodramatic mini-series is set entirely in an Ikea store located in Burbank CA. Here, the characters go about their soap opera lifestyles in tidy bedrooms and kitchens – all while unknowing shoppers do double takes as they past and accidently walk in on serious conversations between husband and wife while cooking breakfast. Below is the very first episode. Watch it, but watch out – it’s addicting.

News500 Days of Summer on DVD!!

So, I didn’t get everything I wanted for Christmas this year, but that’s okay, Santa. This is one present I didn’t mind buying for myself.

500 Days of Summer was released on DVD last Tuesday, and if you’re an even bigger fan of the movie than I am, you probably went out and bought it right away, making sure it was safely wrapped under the Christmas tree. I love this movie so much and can’t wait to make my family and friends watch it too. Plus, Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are so cute together.

Fashion“500 Days of Summer” Style

An offbeat romantic comedy with a whole lot of heart, 500 Days of Summer is a must see.

In this classic boy-meets-girl tale with a twist, stars Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt light up the screen. They prove to be a pair not only with great chemistry but with great style as well. A little vintage, a little preppy, a little quirky, and always very well accessorized, Deschanel’s wardrobe in this flick is itself worth paying a ticket to see.
