Get The Hills Finale Looks!

Fashion | 22 July 2010

I can’t believe it’s been a week since we said goodbye to our favorite real/fake show about a girl who came to L.A. to pursue a career in fashion and on the way went through serious drama.

During The Hills After Show, it occurred to me that some of the finale outfits looked a lot like Lulu*s items. What do you think?

The Most Colorful Award goes to Whitney Port, who showed up in a fun Matthew Williamson tank Dress. To get Whiney’s colorful look, we suggest our Belle of the Paint-Ball Dress.

Audrina Patridge heated up the red carpet with her fuchsia, cut-out dress. We think you can get the same sizzle from our Be Blithe Dress in Magenta.

Kristin Cavallari sparkled on the red carpet in her beige wrap-a-round dress by Zuhair Murad. You can get a similar look with our Champagne Fountain Dress.

Stephanie Pratt chose to wear a blue, white, and black bandage wrap dress designed by Herve Leger. This blue piece instantly reminded me of our Moonlit Marina Dress

We want to know:

Who wore your favorite look?  What was your favorite Hills moment?  Happy or furious with the finale?

Fast and Glamorous: The Simple Chignon

Beauty | 20 January 2010

If you’re like me, rainy weather has you neglecting any attempts at hair styling and sporting a variety of caps all week instead. Now, while hats can be fun, it’s nice to change up your look every now and then. But while there’s so much moisture in the air, I find it pointless to spend time blow-drying and straightening when it’s all going to end up a frizzy mess.

That’s where the classic chignon comes in extremely handy.

A low bun pulled to the side of the head, a chignon is a simple style that can be as glammed up or as casual as you wish. I prefer it loosely gathered and pulled slightly off center. Add any clips or accessories, red lipstick, and those rainy days won’t look so daunting after all.

Did you see these?
