FashionA Day in the Life of a LuLu*s Girl

How do you spend a sunny Sunday afternoon in Lulu*s? Annette of A Vintage Splendor, Jenny of Good Bad & Fab, and Elizabeth of A Keene Sense of Style, spent their day in Old Town Pasadena catching up, shopping, and brunching. These three blogger babes met through blogging and quickly realized they all live in the same city. A similar love for fashion turned into a close friendship filled with frequent weekend get-togethers at the farmers’ market, art museum, and of course shopping. Each blogger picked a LuLu*s outfit that fits her unique style and got ready for the day ahead. Annette opted for the Boho chic look, Jenny was pretty in pink, and Elizabeth rocked a sophisticated two-piece ensemble! Check out their awesome photo diary below!

Hello! I’m Ashley, the founder and crafter behind Sugar & Cloth. I’m so excited to team up with LuLu*s to get to share a few home DIY projects with you in a new series: Fresh Spaces. This week we’re bringing the perfect touch of gold to items around the house.

sugarandcloth_upcycledplanters-finished2aPeople often ask me how I come up with projects to create, but sometimes a DIY is only an arm’s length away and can be practically free if you reconsider some items you may already have floating around the house. For instance, instead of stowing away old planters for the winter or storing cakestands in the pantry when they’re not in use, you can create DIY upcycled containers with just a little paint or gold leafing, and give them a totally new purpose!
