Mood Board: Festival Fashion

Fashion | 23 April 2012

by

Like most every girl I know, I grew up creating mood boards and collages for everything. Crushes, my favorite bands, clothes, you name it. So I decided to go back to my roots and create some mood board/collages of my favorite summer festivals and some outfits to go with them.
Coachella.
Desert, feathers, fringe, and flower crowns- oh my!

Bonnaroo.
Get a little bit country, then a little bit rock and roll. Add a dash of 70s flair and you’re set.

Sasquatch.
Gorgeous views and gorgeous people, in the cleverly named George, Washington.

Shout Out From BROOKLYN!

Art | 30 March 2010

I have just received a shout out from a Brooklyn artist about his latest work and his new website! His name is Eric Schoenbrunn and he is a multimedia artist who, as I know him, focuses mainly on film. However, I found out by going through his site that he has some pretty awesome collages, drawings, and night photography that represent the city life as I remember it.

Above on the left there is a collage titled Göteborg, Sweden 2007 and the second on the right is Chicago/Lake Michigan from Above 2009.

This picture is of my favorite Coney Island attraction, Shoot the Freak! Taken at night, there is something super eery about the emptiness of this image that intrigues me, as well as reminds me of one of my favorite all time movie, The Warriors. And below are two more collages that caught my eye!

Check out Eric’s videos and his website for much more!

Did you see these?
