]]> Fashion Week! We love it so much. So even though NYC ‘s forecast predicted a major winter storm, you better believe that we were on a plane all the way from California to bring another Style Studio to NYC. Nemo was lame anyway, totally unimpressive blizzard!

We partied all night with our favorite bloggers, gave away a ton of free fashion and beauty swag and had a blast while doing it! Take a look below for some snaps of the fun and shenanigans!

NYX Cosmetics is one of our personal faves and they were so awesome to send over two super talented makeup artists to provide eye and lip touchups.

One of the new programs we implemented was Yours Truly, where attendees could vote on the hottest pieces from some of our favorite labels and be the voice in deciding what we carry this season. We also had LuLu*s exclusive pieces that we had made specifically for the event and got your feedback on how to make it just perfect!

Fine Featherheads had a booth offering up the best feather extensions I have seen, and gave away hair chalk in various colors for that perfect ombre mermaid look!

Jamberry Nails attended and set up a table complete with a nail tech. They have AMAZING nail wraps in a huge variety of prints, metallics and rad colors. Guests completed their outfits with the perfect set of nails, compliments of Jamberry!

They even separated the nail wraps in the themes of Style Studio! The Bombshell, Uptown Prep, The Sweetheart, Bohemian and Edgy are all  looks we have broken the selection of the website into. Every girl fits into at least one style and Jamberry was awesome enough to create corresponding looks so girls could find her special look .

Miss Jessie’s had curly girls on lock! Due to the blizzard, most girls were jumping on the opportunity to get a hair touch up and Miss Jessie’s came complete with a team, a stylists chair and an arsenal of products to make sure that each lady was looking her loveliest!

As per every Style Studio event, our gifting suite was packed with freebies!

Beauty Without Cruelty,  sent over a selection of some of their best selling skincare. All of their products smell amazing!!

Timeless fave, Goody, provided classic hair accessories! Thanks!

Gotta love some Rosebud Perfume Co. Their salves are the best. Did you know they have a Minted Rose salve? Need!

Evie Evan has some awesome skincare! Make sure to check out their purity mask, my personal fave, which they brought and gave away to attendees!

Daliia, a LuLu*s fave, brought her amazing herbal kohl liner. I swear by the silver for a highlight to my light eyes. Thanks for the tip, Dalia! What a babe, to boot!

Bodyography, another personal fave, sent along their primers! Seriously, best primer I have used and when I say I have tried  a lot, I mean, A LOT. Maybe even all. JK. Make sure to cruise their site for amazing cosmetics.

Twistband, I love you. You have the best hair elastics in the cutest colors. Thank you for existing! Love, me.

LÄRABAR has SUPER delicious new flavors and they kept us fueled for the night and ready to deal with the cold (and the alcohol, lol).

POM Wonderful is just so rich in flavor and full of goodness. Attendees were so stoked to pick up a cool and refreshing bottle of their 100% pure juice. Thanks, POM!!

Hpnotiq and I have a love affair that dates back to last year. It was a cold night in NYC. The first Style Studio was commencing in Soho, a line forming around the block. As cold guests took solace inside and realized drinks were not only free but strong and full of Hpnotiq’s signature flavor, we had a happy house full of party-goers. THIS marked the beginning of our love story. Thanks, Hpnotiq! Hope to have you at every event, you really are a crowd pleaser.

We, OF COURSE, brought the famous spinning wheel packed with prizes from faves such as Twistband, Georgie Beauty, Chicobag, One Love Organics, BB Dakota, Black Sheep ,and True Beauty Box! We also had tons of LuLu*s gift cards! Guests lined up for a chance to win cool prizes.

One of my favorite parts was partnering up with Nylon Magazine to offer 5 lucky winners a VIP Style Session with our head stylist, Cara Fox-Galassi and Nylon editor Rachael Wang!

Here we have (left to right) Cara, our head stylist, with blogger Tessa of Couture Lust and Nylon’s Rachael Wang! These girls had a blast hanging out and finding the perfect pieces for each blogger to take home.

All in all, this was an amazing event. Even with the snow and beyond cold temps, it was so great to catch up with our friends and meet new faces in NYC. See you soon Fashion Week! Maybe next time we will bring Style Studio to Fashion Week in September. Nemo will not be present at that event, I can promise you that (wink wink).

]]> This past weekend we got to set up shop at the W Hotel during Fashion Week in NYC, partnering up with Simply Stylist for an event that truly linked industry experts to consumers! With panels of fashion icons and celebrity editors, as well as blogger style competitions, this was one style-packed afternoon!

The lovely group of panelists below was comprised of bloggers, stylists and editors! From left to right we have Lindsey of Saucy Glossie, Celebrity Stylist Joey Tierney, Marie Claire Editor Abby Gardner, Style Expert Lindsay Albanese, E! News host Catt Sadler and Simply Stylist founder Sarah Pollack-Boyd! So many talented women!
We were sure to bring fall’s hottest trends in clothing and accessories, and no LuLu*s event is ever complete without our infamous spinning wheel!
Once the shopping event started, attendees were scooping up all the fabulous pieces and having a blast perusing the collection with friends!
Some star bloggers were brought in for a style-off competition! Asked to choose from brands at the event, they created looks with their favorite finds! Here are all the pretty bloggers lined up and everyone is wearing something from LuLu*s!  From left to right there is Erica of Fashion Chalet, Lauren of Lauren Messiah, Grasie of Style Me Grasie and Jacey Duprie of Damsel in Dior! Style Studio, our New York Fashion Week event this past Friday, was a night of fashion, fun and free swag! We had amazing sponsors, lots of bloggers in attendance and tons of free LuLu*s merchandise to give away to every lucky guest! We had 5 top bloggers representing 5 current styles such as Vintage, Sweetheart, etc. Every attendee had a chance to get styling advice from that rack’s top blogger in order to find and take home their special LuLu*s piece!
 
 
Our amazing alcohol sponsor, Hpnotiq, provided tasty drinks in a variety of flavors! Complete with champagne, fresh flowers and glowing stir sticks, these drinks were just as fashionable and hip as our attendees! 
 
 
Hpnotiq even provided a candy bar with all kinds of treats, including the best cupcakes I have had in a while! Everyone raved about these glittery creations.
 
At Style Studio, we were lucky to work with some amazing sponsors that provided our guests with only the best in swag! Take a look below for some photos of the fab set-ups and products they had to offer.

NYX Cosmetics sent over cute lacy pouches filled with a sweet selection of makeup and products. JewelMint sent every attendee a gift card for their site! It’s the perfect place to shop for a new piece of jewelry! 
 
 
 
If you haven’t heard of CraveBox you have to check them out! A monthly subscription box full of hand-selected goodies, either food, home or beauty products, that get delivered straight to your door! We were lucky enough to have them as a sponsor and they brought mini crave boxes for all of our guests.
 
PopChips was so awesome to send over a representative and tons and tons of their delicious bags of chips! They had a spinning display chock full of various flavors such as jalapeno, sour cream and onion, and original!

On Friday, February 10th, we were lucky enough to throw our own Fashion Week party in NYC! We called on all of our favorite bloggers, whether they lived in New York or were visiting for fashion week, to join us at Openhouse Gallery for a night of fashion and fun. Decorated to look like Central Park in Spring, Openhouse Gallery was the perfect venue to host our Fashion Week kickoff party! Upon entering, guests were given a Style Map that would lead them to their style destination, where they could then browse from tons of cute LuLu*s pieces to find the perfect item to take home…on us!

]]> Recently here at LuLu*s, we had the opportunity to sponsor an event with the fabulous, Two Point Oh! LA at their annual Holiday Snow Ball! This glam event brings together Los Angles area fashion bloggers and brands for a night of networking, celebrating and fashion!

Held at the Palihouse in West Hollywood, the 2nd Annual Snow Ball was a glam and festive night! So many amazing, fashionable bloggers attended. Holiday outfit inspiration was everywhere!

LuLu*s rack of glittering dresses, faux-fur coats and holiday heels, all available to be won by spinning our famous prize wheel!
