Color blocking is taking it to the streets . . . literally.

If you’re a shoe lover, then you’ve probably had your eye on some of the hottest new color combos out there. It seems that all the major fashion houses have reached for the spice rack, giving their fierce footwear bold dashes of brights, neutrals and, yes, glitter!

The gilded masterpieces below (aka: my biggest crush) are from Miu Miu, followed by savory designs from Louis Vuitton, Tommy Hilfiger, Fendi and DKNY.

FashionSite to See: Copenhagen Street Style

While sifting through fashion trends (the good, the bad and the ugly) I came across a very simple yet refreshing site to see!
Copenhagen Street Style offers a little taste of some of the fabulous street fashion popping up in Denmark’s capital city. Remarked as having a pristine quality of life, the city obviously upholds a high quality of fashion; and Copenhagen Street Style delivers the proof!
I loved these styles so much, I went looking for something from Lulu*s that would give me that same feeling.
Here’s what I found!

CelebrityEmma Watson’s Style Evolution

It doesn’t matter whether you’re a Harry Potter fan or a follower of the fashionably fabulous. Emma Watson is blowing up as quickly as her style is maturing.

Since the success of the Harry Potter movies Emma has gone on to work with Burberry for two ad campaigns that landed her amongst the who’s who of fashion. Listen to this interview with Emma at Marie Claire for a glimpse behind the scenes of the wonderful pictures featured on this blog, as well as her insight into her evolving sense of fashion.

Her recent spread in Marie Claire seems to capture her quiet, yet steady sense of herself.

Not only does her new hair style set her above all of the typical Hollywood “bombshell” beauties but it defines her as a courageous young woman who’s not afraid to express herself.

Keeping a playfull edge while remaining timelessly classy isn’t easy.

However, Emma Watson is one of those budding fashionistas that makes beauty seem effortless and we’ll have to keep our eyes on her.

FashionBig Hair, Do You Love It?

I love Big Hair.
It’s dramatic, fun and it’s all over the runways these days. Dior’s Fall/Winter 2010 line features gorgeous Victorian inspired fashion worn on models outfitted with curled, teased and blown out do’s. What could be more elegant and incredible all at once?

On the wilder side, Luis Vuitton featured outrageous oversized afro wigs on the runway last Fall. And although the style isn’t exactly as street friendly as Dior, they are pretty unforgettable!

These girls are looking very festival-chic with their teased out tufts.

What do you think?
Would you try any of these crazy do’s?
