Friendship bracelets are fun to wear and even more fun to make. I’ll show you how to create some cute wrap bracelets that you could pass along to a friend or keep for yourself! All you need are a few supplies and a lot of time, because you’ll want to make a bunch of these after you see how really easy it is.

Materials needed:
  • 1.8 mm leather cord
  • Decorative chain (like the crystal chain we used here)
  • Colored waxed cotton cord
  • Scissors

Instructions:
  1. Fold the length of the leather cord in half and form a loop.
  2. Wrap the waxed cotton cord around the loop 6-7 times to secure the loop.
  3. Place the chain along the leather cording with the end of the chain meeting the end of the wrap. Wrap the cotton cord tightly 2 times around each crystal until you reach the end. Make sure that the bracelet is long enough to fit your wrist.
  4. When you get to the end, wrap the cotton cord around 3 more times and tie it into the leather. Tie a knot at the end of the bracelet to secure it to your wrist.

Beef up your stack of friendship bracelets with this no-cost, no-sew DIY that will take on whatever colors or textures you choose! From one T-shirt alone, you can make 1-4 double-wrap bracelets, so you’ll have plenty to share with your friends.
TIPS: Regular, jersey knit t-shirts work the best for this project and the more colorful the better!
When you cut your strips diagonally, this will create one continuous strip of fabric. Cut this into whatever lengths you need for your wrap bracelets.

Did you see these?
