Miss Kloss: The new and all-American model from the midwest!

At age 13 a legggggy 5’7″ Karlie Kloss was helping out at a local charity fashion show for a friend in St. Louis (which is her hometown folks!) and was scouted/scooped up by an agent who happened in on the show. Now she is only 17 years old and is getting, let’s just say, a completely different kind of education!

Karlie is a favorite of photographers because she is known to add her own ideas, opinions, and thoughts to the shoot. Steven Meisel (uber famous fashion photographer!) says that she “thinks from the point of view of an editor and of a photographer, not just that of a model.”

Perhaps some of this comes from her years of ballet training…  who knows? But what we do know is that this high fashion muse has really got it going on, especially to have won the respect of Steven Meisel.
