LuLu*s Fashion Blogger Mixer in San Diego!

Last weekend we were lucky enough to head to sunny San Diego to attend BlogHer, a conference for bloggers that attracts over 3,000 attendees each year. We wanted to show some appreciation and love for our Lulu*s girls attending the conference and also local fashion bloggers, so we decided to throw a party! Using the beautiful Hard Rock Hotel’s rooftop bar, Float, as our venue, we partied the day away in San Diego’s historic Gaslamp District. Take a look below for some highlights!

SwapLuLu*s! A Night of Fun and Free Fashion

This past week we were lucky enough to team up with the lovely ladies from The Swapaholics, Amy and Melissa, who are the event hostesses for the awesome Swap.com! We partied the night away while swapping clothing, sipping wine, and meeting new friends! Fashionistas lined up to drop off their stylish clothing that never quite found its niche in their closet, and they had the chance to fill a bag with new finds! Swapping is the new shopping! Take a look below for a full recap of the nights exciting events!

Prepping in full swing! Clothing was sorted into categories to make finding your new favorite piece even easier!

We stocked the swap with more than 200 pieces of new LuLu*s swag! Dresses, shoes, accessories, and more; the hidden treasures from LuLu*s were up for grabs for those was lucky enough to find them!

All the excited swappers lining up and ready to do some serious damage! The best part of swaps is that you only have to pay a small entry fee, and after that, you can fill your bag to the brim!

Swappers were all equipped with a tote bag to fill with finds!

The mayhem ensues! Ready, set, SWAP!

Swappers eagerly try on their items to make sure they have a perfect fit! If not, then on to the next girl!

One of the best parts of the evening was our blogger mixer! We were able to meet some of favorite bloggers, connect with new girls, and provide them with special handpicked LuLu*s items! We had one special piece for everyone and when we said “Ready, set, SWAP!” it was a mad dash to get what everyone had been coveting!

Shoes, shoes, and more beautiful shoes! All laid out for the bloggers to take their pick! I wonder who was lucky enough to score that pair of Jeffrey Campbells???

For our snacking pleasure and to keep us fueled up and ready to swap, Pretzel Crisps provided us with their delicious flat pretzels and gourmet toppings! Salami, cheese, and olive tapenade were just some of the options our swappers could nosh on!

Wine was flowing with different options for everyone!

We even brought the spinning prize wheel! The adorable Ashley of Fancy Fine was spotted for her adorable vintage 1960′s style and was given the chance to spin the wheel and win a prize! I love her sweet dress and floral crown!

What a trio of amazing ladies! The sweet Erin of Calivintage, Pamela of Market Publique, and my favorite girl, James from Bleubird Vintage! These ladies made the party and looked so perfect doing so! I am in love with Erin’s vintage violet dress!

All in all this amazing event made for such an exciting evening! Tons of new clothes, new friends, and recycled fun!
