CelebrityStyle File: The 2014 Grammy’s!

Everyone is undoubtedly talking about this year’s Grammy’s, and for good reason. Daft Punk swept the awards, Beyonce and Jay-Z were pure perfection, and Kendrick Lamar and Imagine Dragons put on a performance that brought down the house (we can’t stop watching)! And while last night was all about the music, the fashion definitely carried a high note or two!

red

Red Hot: Pink defied her name and donned a gorgeous crimson Johanna Johnson gown, while Miranda Lambert chose an old-Hollywood glam look in a deep-V Pamella Roland!

Pitch Perfect: The always-lovely Anna Kendrick showed a little skin in a silver Azzaro dress, sweeping us off our feet with a gorgeous side-swept wave!

gold

Go for the Gold: Mommy-to-be Ciara simply glowed in a long-sleeved gold gown by Emilio Pucci, and Chrissy Teigen stunned in a strapless Johanna Johnson that sparkled the night away!

Tiers of Joy: Country cutie Kacey Musgraves wore a spectacular Armani Privé, tiered to perfection!

Bold Shoulders: Kelly Osbourne looked like a total diva in an all-black Badgley Mischka with to-die-for shoulder details, and Sarah Hyland was adorable in Emilio Pucci, with sweet ties at the top!

Too Swift: Yet again, Taylor Swift looked phenomenal on the red carpet, wearing a fabulous floor-length gold Gucci gown that knocked our socks off!

And the Winner Is… The queen herself, Beyoncé! Heads were permanently turned from the moment Bey stepped onto the carpet, looking like a lace dream in Michael Costello. The fit-and-flare gown was flawless, and Beyoncé’s edgy locks and makeup completed the look!

AM – Arctic Monkeys

As long time fans of the über-talented foursome known at the Arctic Monkeys, we were beyond stoked when this album dropped, and it has been on heavy rotation since day one. From start to finish, AM drips with cool crooning & liquid lyrics, and makes you fall even more in love with Alex Turner than  you ever thought possible.

Highlights: R U Mine?, One For the Road, Arabella

…Like Clockwork – Queens of the Stone Age

No newcomers to the rock game, QOTSA have done it again with their sixth studio album. We dare say this is the best yet, hitting harder than ever with grit and guts galore.

Highlights: I Sat By the Ocean, If I Had A Tail, Smooth Sailing

Overgrown – James Blake

James Blake is a dreamboat with a voice that can make you simply weak in the knees, and with his sophomore release, he proves once again that he is much more than a pretty face. This album is the perfect soundtrack for just about any mood, and is worth several spins. Per day.

Highlights: Retrograde, Life Round Here, Voyeur

The 20/20 Experience - Justin Timberlake

We know, we know. Justin dropped TWO albums last year. And both were so spectacular, we can’t possibly choose one, so Justin makes the list with the complete 20/20 Experience! This album is bordering on perfection, hitting all the hot spots with the jammiest of jams and ballads for broken hearts.

Highlights: Strawberry Bubblegum, Mirrors, Only When I Walk Away

The Bones of What You Believe – CHVRCHES

One of our most anticipated albums of 2013, CHVRCHES stole our hearts with the beautiful voice of Lauren Mayberry set over some of the catchiest beats our ears have ever heard! If you haven’t listened this one yet, stop what you’re doing, put it on, and dance the day away!

Highlights: The Mother We Share, Gun, Recover
