Our favorite illustrators? The ones who are obsessed with fashion like French illustrator Elodie Nadreau!

Known simply as Elodie, this “Parisienne” has rolled her love for fashion and talent for digitally-embellished drawings into one perfect little package of color, texture, and flirtatious line-work. Elodie’s work emits a soft and sensual ambiance with subtle layers of pattern often weaving in and out of the main subject. Favoring female portraiture Elodie is inspired by what’s happening on the runways and magazines, and I love how she imparts a stippled peach-fuzz effect over much of her work, giving the pieces a warm, almost buzzing quality.

The city of Paris has found a new muse! Model Eva Downey brings feminine fashions to life behind the camera of Asa Tallgard for Elle Romania’s April cover shoot. With a smoky eye and tousled hair, Downey brings an easy elegance and an almost regal air that truly appears effortless. The clothing features clean lines and muted colors from fabulous designers like Givenchy, Balenciaga, and Alexander McQueen, to name a few. Bold, over-sized jewelry completes this look, aptly shot in the fashionable city of Paris. J’adore!

In the April ’13 issue of L’Officiel Paris, Lana Del Rey gets romantic  in high-fashion and haunting imagery. Shrouded beautifully in Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli, and other designers to swoon over, Del Rey plays the part of a Spanish widow in mourning, all the while looking stunning. Lana’s bold red lip is eye-catching, and there’s just something about her statement looks that make this spread so fabulous.
