One of my favorite films of the year, Away We Go, is now sitting happily on my shelf at home. After watching the film for the third time, I have a couple heartstrings attached to the amazing soundtrack, which features the mesmerizing vocals of singer songwriter, Alexi Murdoch. His heartwarming acoustics and lullaby lyrics combine to create beautiful songs that perfectly fit the tone of the film.

As Burt (John Krasinski) and Verona (Maya Rudolph) travel cross country looking for a place to call home, the music accompanies their journey by each location. Alexi’s songs narrate the feelings of love shared between them while always keeping them moving forward.
