MusicLuLu*s Weekend Playlist: Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, loves! Time for peppermint mochas, tights & boots, and ugly sweaters! Unless you’re a total scrooge. And in that case… Perk up, buttercup! It’s the ho-ho-holiday season, and here at LuLu*s, the bells are-a-jinglin’! Us ladies (and gents) are hard at work being Santa’s most fashionable elves, and we’re playing those holiday tunes loud!
I got to thinking about which songs put me in the most holiday of spirits, and here are some of my favorites! Some classics, one that may surprise you, and a couple that I just can’t resist!

MusicWarehouse Picks: Favorite Karaoke Songs Ever!!!

Whether it’s your guilty pleasure or shameless therapy, karaoke can definitely take it’s hold on you. Belting out a classic tune to friends and strangers is a fun icebreaker for pretty much everyone involved. We asked around the warehouse to find out what some of our co-worker’s favorite karaoke tunes are, and one thing is for sure, classic 70′s and 80′s songs are in!
“Love Shack” by The B-52′s.
“It can be a duet, which is really nice, ” says Tyler in graphics.

“Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey.

(Apparently Kellen and Amy have been known to duet on this one!).
“Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen.
Brittani says “It’s really fun to try to hit the high notes like Freddy Mercury, but you never can”.

“Faith” by George Michael.

Valerie says she’ll do “Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond on occasion as well.

“Careless Whisper” by George Michael (During the Wham! years).

My boyfriend and I literally drew a crowd of belly-laughing onlookers last time we performed this one!

“Rebel Yell” by Billy Idol.

Matt (aka Joaquin) was a little reluctant to pick, but after admitting that his father hosts karaoke, he finally went with this quintessential 80′s tune.

“You’re So Vain” by Carly Simon.

I have got to see the lovely Kathleen perform this one! Hoots!

Ok, now fess up!

What  tune steals your heart and gets you onstage?
