DIY: Wrap Bracelet
Friendship bracelets are fun to wear and even more fun to make. I’ll show you how to create some cute wrap bracelets that you could pass along to a friend or keep for yourself! All you need are a few supplies and a lot of time, because you’ll want to make a bunch of these after you see how really easy it is.
Materials needed:
-
1.8 mm leather cord
-
Decorative chain (like the crystal chain we used here)
-
Colored waxed cotton cord
-
Scissors
Instructions:
-
Fold the length of the leather cord in half and form a loop.
-
Wrap the waxed cotton cord around the loop 6-7 times to secure the loop.
-
Place the chain along the leather cording with the end of the chain meeting the end of the wrap. Wrap the cotton cord tightly 2 times around each crystal until you reach the end. Make sure that the bracelet is long enough to fit your wrist.
-
When you get to the end, wrap the cotton cord around 3 more times and tie it into the leather. Tie a knot at the end of the bracelet to secure it to your wrist.
